Maghera singer/songwriter James Bradley has performed an emotional Christmas song in honour of his beloved son Daniel who died after being hit by a car on the Glenshane Road in September.
James originally wrote the song for a function, but decided to post his performance on Facebook to wish ‘a merry Christmas to someone who’s not here.’
In a statement shortly after Dan’s death, James, a mental health campaigner, said his son, a pupil at Kilronan School in Magherafelt, taught them to step into his world.
“A world filled with challenges and differing perspectives. He taught us to embrace autism and we quickly learned from him that different is not less. We love you. Dan the Man – Forever in our hearts.”
